What is a Copyright Claim?
If you believe your original copyrighted work has been uploaded to Humsunte without your permission, you may file a copyright claim using our online form. We review every claim and take appropriate action in accordance with Indian law.
Humsunte is an intermediary under Section 79 of the IT Act, 2000. We are not responsible for user-uploaded content but act expeditiously on valid claims.
How Claims Are Processed
1. Submit — File a claim via the form below. Provide your name, email, the infringing URL, and a description of your original work.
2. Acknowledge — We will acknowledge your complaint by email within 24 hours of receipt.
3. Review — Our moderation team reviews the claim. We may contact you or the uploader for more information.
4. Decision — We will take action within 15 days. If upheld, the content will be removed and the uploader notified.
3-Strike Policy
Uploaders who repeatedly violate copyright face escalating consequences:
• Strike 1 & 2 — The infringing content is removed. The channel receives a formal warning.
• Strike 3 — The channel is suspended. Appeals may be directed to the Grievance Officer.
Counter-Notification
If you are an uploader and believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Counter-Notification". Include your contact information, the URL of the removed content, and the grounds on which you believe the removal was incorrect.
General Grievances
For complaints unrelated to copyright — including privacy, harassment, or other violations — please use the in-app Report button on any track or profile, or email us at [email protected].
